Number Sense

Get these cards from amazon.com!

Here are some great activities you can do with them!

1-See how many numbers your child can identify in a standard flash card game.

2-Have your child put all the cards in order after you shuffle.

3-Give you child a few random cards and put them in order from smallest to largest.

4-Make a walking path with them and have your child say the number as they pass by. They can be in numerical order or not.

5-Lay some in a tic tack toe pattern on the rug. Have your child toss a beanbag, small stuffed animal, etc. on a number and say the number.
OR-have them count up or down from that number

6-Have them divide some cards evenly among 2 or more players. Keep them face down in each player's hand. On the count of three, all players reveal their card face up in the middle. The player with the highest number card gets to keep the card on their side of the table. The player with the most cards at the end wins!
