Great Books

These are great books to read, to help understand the importance of what I call, "old school learning:"

Child directed play, art projects with junk, limited time on the iPad, computer, TV, learning the importance of patience and exploring WITH your child, allowing your child to make small mistakes to learn from them, allowing them to go outside and get dirty, and allowing them to do things on their own or being resourceful as you observe and ask them questions!
